Mid-Century Modern Coffee Table

Materials:

4/4” Sapele

1/2” Baltic Birch

Tempered Glass

The Process…

Legs were cut out from a printed template with a jigsaw and cleaned up with a sanding disc.
Table top was cut from a template as well and then dry fitted to figure out where glass would go.
A slot was then cut out with a 1/2" router bit.
Top was glued together with dowels.
After assembling the table I noticed the legs were attached to far down. I trimmed them to level it.
Once the table was leveled I glued it all together and attached the display shelf.
Finished off with Danish oil and Behr Ultra paint.
Perfect for displaying your favorite coffee table books.
